2018 PNW Circus Workshop Weekend

Versatile Arts is delighted to present the fifth annual PNW Circus Workshop Weekend May 25nd through 28th, featuring some of the best aerial and acrobatic instructors in the Pacific Northwest as well as some very special out-of-town guests. This year we are excited to be partnering with the Cabiri and taking advantage of their gorgeous new studio, Arcadia, in order to bring you even more workshops – be prepared to have some hard choices to make!

Workshops range from beginner-appropriate to intermediate/advanced, so please check the prerequisites for each one before registering. Also note the location of each workshop as some will be held at Arcadia, about 10 minutes from Versatile Arts. If any of your workshops are at Arcadia, you must also fill out their release form.

If the workshops you want fill up, do put yourself on the waitlist.  We may be able to offer some additional slots on Monday for the workshops that prove to be the most popular. If there is a workshop you would like to see on Monday from any of our local or visiting instructors, please let us know! Monday is also available for private lessons and some extra open workout options.

To register, if you do not already have a VA login, you must first fill out our online release form and then set up your password at my.versatilearts.net. (Or, if you use a gmail account on the release form, you can skip the password setup and use the new Login with Google feature). Then you can log in and use the workshop weekend registration page, or push the big button below.

Your registration fee ($5/class up to a maximum of $15) covers group warm-ups all three days, open gym time on Sat, Sun, and Monday and three lunchtime presentations (PJ Perry on Saturday, Leah Jones on Sunday, and Emily Scherb on Monday).

Registration deadline is May 4th, after which tuition increases by 10%.

Here’s the full list of workshops as well as an overview of the weekend schedule, for your planning purposes. It also shows you where each workshop will be held. And here are the bios of all the amazing instructors.

Refunds/Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel any workshop with fewer than 4 participants and will provide a full refund in those cases. Students who cancel their registration before the deadline (which is 3 weeks in advance) will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations received less than 3 weeks in advance but more than 48 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the first workshop are not eligible for a refund.

Coming from out of town? Here’s some handy visitor information on housing and transportation.
