I moved to Nairobi, Kenya in 2023 with my cat, my aerial rig and dreams of swinging above animals and wild landscapes. It’s taken nearly 3 years but I finally disassembled the rig, assembled a small group of friends including Neil and Mark, both amazing talents in photography, videography, and editing, and, ready to make some magic, headed southwest from Nairobi to Lake Magadi, a surreal, shimmering intensely saline lake in Kenya’s Rift Valley. Eras? While chronologically I’m in my empty nest era, I first came to Kenya in my early twenties and while chasing glimmers and adventure here I could swear that I might still be that young woman.
