Karen is an instructor at Versatile Arts. She specializes in horizontal apparatuses (lyra! trapeze!). This is her first sling act (first performed during the holiday dance spectacle Buttcracker V). Karen started her performing career as a modern dancer and her early circus endeavors included flying trapeze, swinging trapeze, and main à main (although she is still in pursuit of a solid handstand and dreams of being able to press to handstand by the age of 50).
