Svetlana never imagined a nerdy, shy, and inactive linguist/programmer could do acrobatic stunts in the air. But after her first silks class, she was hooked. She stuck with aerials as she traveled and lived around the world, learning the names of body parts in German, animal shapes in Italian, and exercises in Scottish English.
