Description: This is a Choreography workshop. We are entertainers. So let us entertain. Drops, Splits, dynamic work all add to what we do, and Silks have the ability to offer us so many options. Let’s take advantage of those and do it all. Together we will weave the tricks into the transitions and give the audience a ride.
Prerequisites: VA level 2c+ on vertical
Laura Gwendolyn Burch specializes in athletic and innovative aerial work. She performs and coaches on silk, sling, dance trapeze, and lyra. She has performed all over the US multiple times with The Venardos Circus, Circus Kirkus, Blue Lala Entertainment, and is a resident performer at the Pink Door in Seattle. Her work shares the artistic curiosity of modern circus mixed with her love for the showmanship of traditional circus. She has been teaching movement since 2010, and currently is coaching in Bellingham WA at the Bellingham Circus guild.
