Vertical Axis is a Seattle based aerial duo. Partners Nick and Amanda have been practicing circus arts together since 2014 and have loved every minute. Their first connection was through acro yoga and they quickly added partnering on the aerial silk. This dynamic duo has enjoyed teaching duo aerial and partnering in all varieties. One of their favorite events was teaching circus arts in Washington DC at Mermagicon, the largest mermaid convention in the country in 2022. As well as coaching, Nick and Amanda perform together around the Seattle area, and you can catch them regularly at the Suite Lounge in Bellevue!  Nick and Amanda teach from a place of trust and communication, knowing that partnering works best when duos listen to each other. This dynamic led the lovebirds to use their aerial act as the first dance at their wedding. Nick and Amanda also enjoy getting deep with functional anatomy to help create longevity in students and their own performance careers.
