Tumbling 101 is an introduction to basic shapes and skills. Build your tumbling foundation with forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridge shapes. Come try out new skills or brush up on skills you haven’t worked on in a while. Progressions work towards skills including: bridge kick overs, back backbends, hand balance shapes, beginning press handstand, handstand and cartwheel variations.
3 Fridays: May 21, June 4, and June 18. 5:45 – 6:45 pm.
$75 for the 3-part workshop.
This workshop focuses on: strength and flexibility for back bends, splits and basic handstand work. Active and passive flexibility exercises to keep joints and muscles safe while improving range of motion and precision in movement. Special attention with working towards core strength and shapes with a focus on improving acro/aerial positions.

Bianca Swain comes highly recommended by VA’s beloved former instructor Gunnar Field. Bianca found gymnastics at a young age; her love of learning skills has stayed with her through gymnastics, ballet and Pilates training to this day. She has spent the majority of her 15-year coaching career training Junior Olympic development gymnasts, and enjoys helping adults and youths at all levels to reach their goals!
